The Whole Family Site

The latest version of RootsMagic (v.6) provides the capability for creating an interactive site which includes family views of all of the people in our database.  There is a help page that explains movement around the database.  Keep in mind that all information for living individuals is privatized.  That is, nothing shows up online but their name regardless of the information we may have in our database.

FindAGrave memorials have been created for Wood/Burcham family members for which I have burial information.  You can search at www.findagrave.com or you can go here to get to Walter's memorial and use the links there to find other family members.

Other Information - Links and other background information that relate to our families.  Includes some facts/speculation about surname origins, religions, etc., as well as relationships to a few noted people.

Burcham Trunk Pictures- Miscellaneous pictures of relatives/friends of the Burcham/Davis family.  Some are familiar to me but many are not.  Most of these came from a trunk which had belonged to my grandparents (Dilver Levi BURCHAM and Carrie Victoria DAVIS who was also a Burcham).  Available for submissions of researchers of the Burcham/Davis families as well as others from the Grayson/Carroll counties, Virginia area.

Mary's Friendship Quilt- Mary (Burcham) Wood made a quilt top made of squares with the names of many of her family and friends.  It is unclear if the individuals made their own squares, simply put their name on it, or what.  The quilt top was obviously done during the time Mary was pregnant with her firstborn.  We decided to have it quilted and have taken some pictures of it.  To see some photos of it, click here.  In order to see the detail of the squares, Dennis took shots of each one and then we added the related information to each and stitched it all together again.  To see this version, click here (patience).  To see a Zoom.it version, click here.
