Funeral services for John F. Eden, 69, of 216 Marquette street, who died Wednesday evening at St. Francis Hospital will be held at ? a.m. Saturday at the Wilton Mortuary chapel. The Rev. H. Newcomb of Bacon Memoria ???sion will officiateand burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Friends may call at the mortuary afternnon and evening.
Mr. Eden was born at Chatsworth, Sept. 3 1878, a son of Edo and Johanna Johnson Eden, he married Emma Mergenthler in Pekin Aug. 31, 1905, and she died in Peoria Sept 28, 1937. Be?? his retirement two years ago Mr Edenhad been employed at the Brass Foundry Co., for six years.
Surviving are two sons, William H. and Arthur J. Eden both of Peoria; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Short of East Peoria, Mrs. Mathilda Rucker and Mrs. Marie Nau both of Peoria; four brothers, Carl Eden of Billings, Montana; George, Harry, and William Eden all of Peoria, one half brother, Carl Moll; three sisters, ?? Everett, Mrs. Sophia Barth, Mrs Emma Wagner, all of Peoria; and 13 grandchildren.

Services at the Wilton Mortuary Chapel Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Friends invited. interment in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday afternoon and evening.
