Death Notice taken from the Peoria Journal Star June 14, 1953
Funeral Services for William Harry Eden, 40, of 205 Park Ave., Norwood
Park, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday at the Clugsten Memorial Home. The
Rev. E L Fernandes of Arcadia Avenue Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 4 P.M.
today.
Mr. Eden was dead on arrival at 8:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Francis
Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack about one-half hour earlier at
his home.
For three years he had been employed at Central Illinois Light Co.
Prior to then he was employed by Brass Foundry Co.
He was born April 14, 1913 in Peoria, a son of John and Emma Mergenpheler
Eden. He married Grace Brady here on Sept. 18, 1938.
He was a Member of Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Judith Ann, a son Ronald Dean,
a brother, Arthur, all of Peoria, three sisters, Mrs. Marie Nau of Peoria,
Mrs. Bernice Short, and Mrs. Matilda Rucker of E. Peoria.
