While family members gathered, an icebreaker nametag game was played. For this game President Susan had created nametags with the names of famous people of them, and these were attached to the back of guests’ clothing. Each person then had to ask questions of others in the group to determine who he or she was supposed to be.

Following lunch and a little time to get further acquainted, President Susan welcomed everyone to the reunion and had each person introduce him/herself to the group.

Business Meeting
Because of wind and much noise it was difficult to hold a business meeting this year, so there are no decision or discussions to report in the minutes.

Election of Officers
Historian Florence Bowe told the group that health concerns are forcing her to rethink continuing in office for another year. Nevertheless, the current slate of officers was reelected for another year. [Note: Florence officially retired in the spring of 2001, and Janelle Jackson of Portland was appointed Interim Historian until the reunion].

Respectfully submitted,
Beth Perry Johnston, Secretary
