At the time Mary Ann Prebble was born her father John Prebble was in conflict with the Church Commissioners. The Higham Church Register for births, shows entries for 1786 and 1787

Beneath this line are the following words which are difficult to read because of the hatched lines and ink blots.
Above the hatched line is a word that looks like  Revolter
Under the hatched lines it reads,    Memorandum. If the commissioners or visitor definately shall visit this register they will be pleased to observe that the parents of the above infant viz, John Prebble has refused to pay the government  ****ty three pence which they will levy or not as they think proper. It was not exposed 'til the article was inserted. If the Min. shall receive it he will account for it & take notice of it.'

Francis Maria Prebble married Edward Smythe Mercer, a captain in the Royal marines, they had 5 children:

Christopher Prebble married Louisa Paine in1838 in Stoke Newington Surrey, they had 3 children:

                    1/ Louisa Jane  b. 1838
                    2/ Christopher Edmund   b. 03/02/1841 in Charlton near Dover
                    3/ John Louis  b. 1851


Elizabeth Prebble married William Lake on 05/12/1817 at St Margaret of Antioch Church in Rochester, they had 3 children:

                    1/ Elizabeth b. 1819
                    2/ Ann b. 1820
                    3/ William b. 1832

Letitia Prebble married at Shorne 02/08/1791 Joseph Howlett Fenner, [ 1761 - 1840 ] they had 4 children:
He was the son of Rest & Ann Fenner they were Presbyterians, their children were baptised at Zoar Chapel in Strood or Gravesend Independant Chapel.

                    3/ Letitia, b. 01/01/1796  buried 25/08/1827 at Gravesend Independant Chapel

  William Day [1] and Mary Alexander had a son

                      William [2] b. 22/06/1707 in Boxley Kent.  He was married 01/05/1735 in St Nicholas Church Rochester to Sarah Athawes  

                      She was born 17/09/1707 the daughter of John and Mary Athawes    

  William and Sarah Day had 10 children:

                    1/ Sarah b. 28/05/1740
                    2/ Catherine  b. o4/04/1742
                    3/ Elizabeth  b. 15/04/1744
                    4/ Ann  b. 20/12/1745   married 1st. James Day on 13/06/1769 at St Margaret's Church Rochester. 

                        They had a daughter Lucy who married John Tilden.  James Day died in Cooling 18/04/1775.

                        Ann Day was married 2nd  in 1782 to John Prebble

  Thomas [2] married 01/11/1671 in Lympne, Margaret Smith  b. 22/06/1645, they had 5 children:

                    3/ Thomas
                    4/ William
                    5/ Margaret  01/01/1681 - 19/02/1712,  she married Richard Prebble [2]  in 1704
