John Adams Blauss (Israel) was born in 17 APR 1840 in New York City, New York, the son of Isreal Blauss and Catherine Beck. He died 30 MAY 1920 in Kings, New York at the age of 80.

He married Catherine Christina Kapp (daughter of Andrew & Mary Kapp) abt 1864 in Brooklyn, New York. She was born in 4 APR 1843 in Württemberg, Germany and immigrated to America with her family in 1847. She died 14 FEB 1925 at the age of 81 in Kings, New York. Both John Blauss and Catherine Kapp are buried in Linden Hill Cemetery, Flushing, New York.
