Family reunion and Bobby's 70 Birthday Party
- Individual Sports. Sports for me are limited . I play golf and exercise at our club house to keep this retired body in good health.
- Computers I am an avid computer user and am always surfing the Internet. Both Barbara and I are involved in Web Pages and hosting them. She has designed and published several of them including this one. We are active as a family, communicating by e-mail and have coerced several of our computer-disadvantaged relatives to "Go Online".
- Ice Hockey. Having grown up in Massachusetts, (and being a former Ice Hockey Player and Referee), I am an avid ice hockey fan. We are still looking for it to catch on down here in Florida. Our farm team the Florida Everglades are very successfull here in Ft. Myers but it just isn't the NHL
- Football. My wife, Barbara, and I love Football and watch as often as we can. As former season ticket holders for the San Francisco 49ers we rarely miss a televised game. Her parents, being Dallas Cowboys fans makes for fun and friendly rivalry. My mother-in-law Lucy Grooms knows more about football than I do.
- Traveling. My retirement is here and after travelling full time in our 38 Foot Monaco Windsor diesel pusher Motor home for 18 months we finished up in Naples Florida. We fell in love with Naples Florida in 2003 so we sold the Motor home in January 2003 and bought a condo on a golf course here.
- Genealogy. This has been our most fulfilling hobby. We love working on our family trees together and sharing our data with a lot of family and friends. We are very active in several Genealogy Internet forums and groups. We were active participants in Summit 2000 in Nova Scotia, Canada and also in the summer of 2004 for the big genealogy conference in Nova Scotia. It is my hope that someone in my family will take up this chronicle after me and pass it on to our descendants.
