For information on the descendants of John Peter Clover, the Roll Family, the Frampton Family and the Clugh Family from Robert Frampton see
Frampton Page He was the major early researcher of the descendants of John Peter Clover.
This is an account of the current location of his files sent to me by the library. Frampton Files
The Bloom Family is associated with the Clovers in Hunterdon County, NJ and in PA.

These are Clovers who are surely descendants of John Peter Clover, but I have not yet found proof of their fathers. Note that there is a Martin pattern here. I don't know yet what it means.  They are not children of Peter Clover, son of Paul Clover. His heirs were in his estate.
See Problem Page for discussion of the possible parentage of these individuals.  Also see
Collected Material on David Martin
Isaac Clover, born 1819, Pennsylvania, married Sarah Wren [had son David Martin Clover born 1850, PA, not the one below.]

Martin Clover, born ca. 1812, PA lived in 1850 Jefferson County and 1860-1870-1880 in Elk County, Pennsylvania no wife or family members in censuses.

David Martin Clover, born 1822, Indiana, brought up by his Uncle Paul, son of Paul per Paul's bible record. Eventually moved to Labette County, Kansas.  Died 1878.

Turyann Rifner was born 3 January 1817 and raised by Paul Clover till of lawful age per Paul's bible record.  Is she a Clover married a Rifner? Or someone else.  I don't know.

There are some more females who will be listed later.

Arkansas and Oklahoma.

So many of these families moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma that I am putting them together.  I do not have proof of their fathers yet.  There is a lot of confusion in this group.  The group may have come originally from Monroe County, Illinois.  We have DNA lines for the Monroe County Clovers.  I would really like to see a Clover male descendant of the Clark County, Arkansas Clovers and of John Clover of Texas take a DNA test.  It might be very enlightening.  Contact me if you are willing or if you have a brother/uncle/cousin who is willing.

For more information on their possible roots, please see the pages from Monroe County, Illinois. I have a separate page for John Clover, Adam Clover and Susannah (Clover) Guice, all of whom probably came from Monroe County to Arkansas prior to 1820. I am still trying to sort out who is the child of whom.
