Dorothy Pearl Pebworth Sharp was a diligent researcher of both the Pebsworth and the Clover lines.  She was descended from the Clovers and Pebsworths of Clark County, Arkansas.
  
Dorothy Pearl Sharp, 63, of Noble, Okla. passed away during the early morning hours on April 6, 2008. Dorothy fought a short but brave battle of cancer at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Dorothy was born in Blanchard, Okla. on June 1, 1944 to Ernest Walter and Oma Elizabeth Draper. Dorothy married Arthur Duane Sharp on December 30, 1980 in their home in Noble. Dorothy went back to school at a late age to finish her education at Moore-Norman Vo-Tech. She earned a Machinist Degree graduating with honors. Dorothy joined her sister's business at Hewitt's Greenhouse in Noble where she loved working with the public providing them beauty in their yards and homes. Dorothy's passion was researching and documenting her family genealogy. Her work will be enjoyed by the family for years to come.Dorothy is survived by her children, Timothy Elkins from California, Kathy Elkins and partner Sherry Belle-Isle from Oregon, and Christine Keith and husband Sean from Texas; one step-daughter, Rhonda Loveless from Noble; and one step-son, Keith Sharp from Noble. She was also survived by her brother, Doyle and wife Mary Draper from Noble; her sister, Joyce Hewitt from Noble; two grandchildren, Kylli Neely and Owen Keith; and several nieces and nephews.Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Duane Sharp, her parents, Oma and Ernest Draper, and her brother, Carrol Draper.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Service in Norman, Okla. Dorothy will be laid to rest after services at Fairview Maguire Cemetery in Noble with dinner to follow at 7331 124th Ave. Please come and celebrate Dorothy's departure from us, and her arrival to Our Heavenly Father. Fire chief dies: Phil Clover, 58, dead after heart attack Sunday

ENID — Enid Fire Chief Phil Clover died Sunday in Tulsa after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was 58 years old.
        He served 34 years with the Enid Fire Department, joining in 1977 at the position of firefighter. He also served as a driver, lieutenant, captain and assistant chief before being selected by the Enid Fire Civil Service Commission Feb. 1, 1996, as chief.
        Clover received the Oklahoma State Fire Chiefs Association’s Fire Chief of The Year Award in 1999 and was commended by then-Gov. Frank Keating for this distinction. He also was responsible for expanding the department’s medical services and aided in securing a regional firefighter training facility for Northwest Oklahoma at Autry Technology Center.
        Those who worked with Clover remembered his passion for public safety and his drive to serve the Enid community.
        “Phil was not only a good friend, but he was a treasured fellow leader,” City Manager Eric Benson said. “He was a very good friend. He was an up-front guy, a true gentleman.
        “I feel very, very honored to have called him my friend.”
        Benson said he remembers a hot day when the city opened its dog park. Sparky the fire dog was out there interacting with children.
        “He was very energetic and big hit,” he said. “I was just sure it was one of those young guys from the department. He comes over to me and takes off the head of the outfit, and it was Phil Clover.”

April Danahy, who was on the civil service commission that promoted Clover to chief, recalled and lauded the chief’s efforts.
    “When he interviewed to become the fire chief in Enid, Okla., one of the things he wanted to do was to create positive images of the fire department, increase the image of the fire department,” she said. “He really wanted to make a difference and make the fire department a true community department and he did.”
        Danahy said Clover did whatever he could to improve Enid’s relationship with the department.
        “If it was putting on a Sparky suit and roller skating, he’d do it,” she said. “He wanted the fire department to be so much a part of this community, and I think he did that.”
        Fire Marshal Ken Helms said he and the members of the department were shocked to learn of the loss of their leader.
        “We’re all just all surprised and shocked to learn we’ve lost our chief,” he said. “He’s been a good boss and good co-worker. He’ll be missed.”
Helms said Clover was very active throughout the state in public safety organizations.
Enid Police Department Chief Brian O’Rourke said Clover was a friend and passionate about his job.
“Phil and I were good friends for the last 10, 11 years,” he said. “He’s done a lot for the fire department. He’s a great guy. He loved public safety and he had a passion for it.
        “He really cared about the city of Enid and he cared about the city of Enid Fire Department.”

ENID — Funeral service for Philip Raymond Clover, 58, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
    Philip was born July 10, 1953, in Enid, Okla., and went to be with his Lord on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, in Tulsa, Okla., doing what he loved most, helping his family.
        A true Enidite, Philip attended Garfield Elementary, Waller Junior High, Enid High School and Phillips University, graduating with bachelor degrees in secondary education and business.
        He married Terrie on June 26, 1987, in Enid, Okla.
        Philip began his career with the Enid Fire Department in 1977. He worked his way up through the ranks to Chief in 1996 and has served faithfully since. He was Enid’s youngest and longest-serving fire chief.
        Philip was selected by EHS Student Council as the recipient of the Pride of the Plainsmen award in 2010. In 1999, he received the Oklahoma State Fire Chiefs Association’s “Fire Chief of the Year” Award, the first-ever recipient.
        He served as president of the Fire Chief’s Association, chairman of the Red Cross, Our Daily Bread, local MDA and Salvation Army fundraising and Christmas in April. He was an avid Plainsmen booster.
        Philip’s career passion was Enid’s history and building tradition within the Fire Department. However, his true passion and love were his family. He gave selflessly and endlessly of himself to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was at every event possible from football games to programs to graduations and even sheep shows.
        Philip is survived by the love of his life, Terrie; his children, Jennifer and Brent Kisling of Enid, Okla., Jeff and Courtney Berg of Bixby, Okla., Andrea and Nathan Parker of Monument, Colo.; six grandchildren, Layne Kisling, Bree Kisling, Reagan Sibit, Jackson Berg, Creighton Berg and Charleigh Berg. He also is survived by Brad, Glorene and Desta Clover, and Jim and Jean Lewis.
        He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Becker, and beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles.
        Memorial contributions may be made to Chief Clover’s Annual Firefighter Christmas Dinner (a favorite event of Philip’s for active and retired firefighters’ families to get together) or the Brent Hatcher Benevolent Fund (a fund for families of Oklahoma’s fallen firefighters).

        Enid, OK — Francis “Frank” Walter Roush, formerly of Enid, Okla., went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2009, at his home in Dallas, Texas. He was 87 years old. He was born on March 10, 1922, in Augusta, Kan., to Lydia Leola Kelly-Roush.
        In November 1942, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served with the 419th 10th Armored Field Artillery Division, Third Army in World War II. On a furlough, he married Helen Marie Clover on September 23, 1943. When the war was over, they moved back to Enid and made their home. In October 1945, he began his career as a knock engine mechanic at Champlin Oil Company refinery. He retired after 38 years in December 1982.
        He was an avid collector of ball point pens and had accumulated thousands. He loved to travel around the United States and attend World War II Army reunions and other family events. He loved to hold babies and would do so for hours.
        He is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home, one brother, Robert Roush of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Lydia Kiefer and husband, Jerald of Garland, Texas, and Cindy Stephens and husband, Wayne of Blackwell, Okla.; four grandchildren, Kurt Kiefer, Kelly McCormac, Karla Culver and Christi Stephens; six great-grandchildren, Preston and Brandon McCormac, Blake, Frankie and Bryce Culver and Jessica Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
        He was preceded in death by his mother and grandmother.
        Graveside services will be held, Friday, July 10, 2009, at 10:00 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Marvin D. Palmer will officiate. There will be a time visitation with the family from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

        Funeral services for Debra Lynne Becker, age 54, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2006, in Willow View United Methodist Church. Rev. Lesly Broadbent will officiate. Interment services will be in the garden chapel of Memorial Park Cem-etery. There will be a family visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 12, 2006, in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel.
        Debra was born January 30, 1952, in Enid to Earl Bradford “Brad” and Glorene Faye “Goble” Clover and died Thursday, March 9, 2006, in St. Marys Regional Medical Center.  She grew up in the Enid area and was a graduate of Enid High School in 1970. She was employed by the Champlin Oil Co. in 1974. And later Debra worked for Tenneco Oil Co. until her retirement in 1984.
        On May 31, 1975, Debra married John Owen Becker in Enid.
        Debra was very active in the Boy Scouts of America where she was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. She was also a former member of DECA and a member of Willow View United Methodist Church. Debra also enjoyed sewing along with her arts and crafts.
        She is survived by her husband John Becker of the home; her parents, Brad and Glorene Clover of Enid; two children, Malanie Becker of Shidler, OK and John Randolph “Randy” Becker of Austin, TX; a brother, Phillip Clover and his wife Terrie of Enid; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

DOROTHY BUCKMASTER
        The funeral service for Dorothy Buckmaster, age 77, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at the First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Marilyn Murray officiating. Private family burial will be in Wauko-mis Cem-etery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. The casket will be open only at the funeral home for viewing.

She was born to Pete and Lena Jantz Becker on September 26, 1930, in Goltry and died Sunday, January 20, 2008, at the Methodist Home in Enid.
        Dorothy grew up in Goltry. On October 14, 1955, she married James Buckmaster in Enid, and they made their home in Enid. She worked as a medical record clerk at St. Mary’s Hospital until her retirement. Dorothy was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
        She is survived by two daughters, LaDonna Clover and husband Lester Clover , and Yvonne Chapman and husband Jeff, all of Enid; four grandchildren, Cody Clover, of Oklahoma City, Kaylee Clover, Jasie Randol and husband Mike, and Abby Chapman, all of Enid; one brother Eugene Becker of Washington; and two sisters, Martha Swanson and Irene Hill, both of Enid.
        Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband James; and brother Reuben Becker.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - Alzheimer’s Division.

      A graveside service for Joyce “Red” Clover, age 94, of Dallas, Oregon, formerly of Enid, will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 6, 2009, at the Memorial Park Garden Chapel, with Rev. Dan Barrick officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
     He was born to Phillip and Ellen (Branson) Clover on July 10, 1914, in Nash, OK and died Saturday, February 28, 2009 in Dallas, Oregon.
     He grew up north of Nash and attended school at Sandy Point, west of Hollie.  He later worked at CCC camps.  Levi married Opal McCormick, and they made their home in Enid.  He worked at the Champlin Refinery.  Due to ill health, he moved to Dallas, Oregon in 2002.
     Joyce is survived by two sons, Chuck Clover of Enid, and Lester Clover and wife LaDonna, of Enid: one daughter, Gloria Clover of Salem, OR; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Rousch of Enid and Mona Biby of Nash.
     He was preceded in death by his wife Opal, five brothers,  and five sisters.
     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

DONALD GENE CLOVER [Jefferson is in Grant County, Oklahoma]
        The funeral for Donald Gene Clover, 55, of Jefferson, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckinridge. Rev. Arthur McCormick will officiate. Burial will be in the Breckinridge Lutheran Cemetery at 10 a.m. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
        Don was born December 6, 1949, in Enid, OK, and died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at his home in Jefferson with family and friends at his side. He was the son of Homer L. and Dorothy Meier Clover and was a graduate of Enid High School. Don married Joyce G. Palmer on April 23, 1971. They made their home in Enid, moving to Breckinridge soon after. In 1977, they moved to Pond Creek. They made their home in Jefferson in 1989.
        Don was employed by USDA-NRCS as a soil conservation technician for 35 years, serving at the Garfield and Grant County Field Offices. He served as trustee for the town of Jefferson and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Enid. Don also served as vice president of the Oklahoma Centennial Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive Association and a member of the Pond Creek-Hunter Young Farmers, Quail Unlimited, National Rifle Association, and the American Chuck-wagon Association. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, riding his horses, competing in chuck wagon cook offs, and playing washers with family and friends.
        Don is survived by his wife Joyce G. Clover of Jefferson, daughter Mardeene and husband Glen Huschka of Dickinson, N.D., son Michael and wife Krista Clover, grandson Jacob Clover of Chandler, OK, his mother Dorothy and stepfather Ralph Eddington of Enid, brother Jack Clover of Carmen, OK, and sisters Connie Woolman of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Wanda Dempewolf of Blanchard, Ok, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
        He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Clover of Enid.
        Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Centennial Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive Association, Rt. 2, Box 46, Medford, OK 73759, Hospice Circle of Love, or the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery Fund.

Billie Sue Clover 1933 - 2011
        Billie Sue Clover, 78 died May 2, 2011 in Eufaula from complications from Alzheimer’s disease.  Billie was born March 17, 1933 to Sherman Nichols and Laura Graham Nichols, graduating from Eufaula High School in 1951 and was a lifetime resident of Eufaula.  She married Melvin Clover on February 24, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and returned to make her home in Eufaula.  A lifetime member of the First Assembly of God Church, she served as assistant church secretary and during church services frequently sang special songs, having a beautiful singing voice.  Billie retired from the Bank of Oklahoma in 1995 after a 28 year banking career that initially began with the Farmers & Merchants Bank.
        She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Melvin Clover, sons Mike Clover and his wife Terri of Shawnee and Eddy Clover and his wife Karen of Eufaula and grandsons, Michael, Matt and Mark also of Eufaula.  She loved her church and her family dearly, especially those three grandsons. 
        Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.  Billie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Nola M. Clover, 86, resident of Woodland Village died in Suring on February 13, 2000.
She was born in Coggon, Iowa, November 26, 1913 to the late Clyde and Lois (Hunter) Chessmore. Nola Chessmore married Irvin Clover in 1940. The couple owned and operated The V Bar in the City of Gillett from 1965 until closing in 1990. Nola greatly enjoyed her dog Max. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970.
Survivors include her brother, Stanley Chessmore, of Coggon, IL, three sisters, Clarissa, Velma and Arvilla; many nieces and nephews. Nola was further preceded in, death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 from 4 p.m. until services 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Linda Schmidt presiding. Following cremation, Nola will be interred in, Mountain Cemetery.

        Funeral services for Lucille BRUTON CLOVER, 75, of Sallisaw, were held at noon Friday, at the Sallisaw City Cemetery gazebo, with Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born April 4, 1927, in Harrison community to Walter Calvin BRUTON and Grace Lorene (ADAMS) BRUTON. She died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in Sallisaw. She married Henry Hamilton CLOVER on March 5, 1965, in Poteau. He preceded her in death in June 1988. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon C. and Donald, and Joanne and Howard; one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Patricia; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ila, Margaret and Jessie Mae; two brothers, Wadie and Joe; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

        Jessica Nichole Thompson Clover, of Owasso, left this life Friday July 10, 2009. She was born in Tulsa May 31, 1982, and was a 2000 graduate of Owasso High School. She was an avid animal lover and took great pleasure in watching comedy acts, to the point of laughing out loud. Jessica had a passion for and was very talented at writing poetry.
        She is survived by: sons, Bryson and Trenton Cloverof Sperry; parents, Jonie and Gary Thompson of Owasso; brother, Dustin Thompson and wife Sarah as well as nephew, Jaymes of Tulsa; maternal grandparents, Billie and Gene Morrison of Tulsa; paternal grandparents, Shirley and Jim Thompson of Broken Arrow; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jessica, you were dearly loved and you will be missed more than you can imagine. May the ones you leave behind take comfort in knowing that your soul is now at peace.

Eileen Clover (NANNY) RUSH, 85, of Flippin passed away at her home on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000. She was born on August 31, 1915, at Joplin, MO, the daughter of Peter L. and Lillie SEVRA. Ms. RUSH was a prior resident of Tulsa, OK, having made her home in Flippin for two years. She is survived by one son, Tom RUSH of Henryetta, OK; one daughter, Mary Jane DALTON, of Flippin; four grandchildren, Kim ESTES of Tulsa, OK, Dona GUPTILL of Flippin, Aubra RUSH of Mountain Home, Karen WILLIAMS of Broken Arrow, OK; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Theodore, one son, Ted, and her parents, Peter and Lillie SEVRA. Services were held at Moores Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa, on Monday, October 2. CLOVER - Nancy Jane, 91, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008. Nancy was born in Tulsa on December 31, 1926, to Mayme Lawson Clover. and Jack M. Clover. Nancy graduated from Tulsa Central High School, Class of 1945. While in High School, Nancy became an avid tennis player, frequently participating in the tournaments at Tracy Park. Nancy then attended Duke University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi social sorority, then returned to Tulsa to graduate from the University of Tulsa. She received her Masters Degree from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. From an entry level position at Macy's Department Store in New York, she progressed to be a Buyer in one of their leading departments. Subsequently, she returned to Tulsa and was active in Real Estate.
        Nancy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Dick Cantrell of Tulsa. And, two nephews, Steven Cantrell of Santa Fe, NM and Timothy Cantrell of Guilford, CT. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any contributions be made to St. Simeons in Tulsa.        John Clover , J. Rash and John Enlish were injured on Thursday night
      when a team driven by Mr. Rash ran away. The wagon was loaded with
      lumber and the tree men were sitting on the lumber. Some part of the    
      horness broke and startled the horses which bolted and threw the men     
      into the street on 12th and Wyandotte, Dewey. Dr. Van Sant was called
      and took the men to his office for treatment. The team was caught        
     further down the street after they had upset a buggy containing a women    
    and a child, who were not injured and refused to give their names.

     T.R. Rash, John Clover, and J English were injured Thursday evening
     in a runaway accident. Mr Rash was driving the team of horses which      
     became uncontrollable and ran, turning over the wagon, when a chain       
     broke and the tongue dropped to the ground. the men were thrown to   
     the pavement. Before the horses could be stopped they ran into a buggy          
     driven by a woman accompained by two childern, but they did them no       
     harm. Mr Clover is in serious condition. The other men who were
     injured slightly.

Services were held Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Jack Loftiss Funeral Home Chapel, Cordell with burial in the Canute Cemetery under the direction of Jack Loftiss Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
Imogene Ruth Clover was born June 1, 1924 near Canute, Oklahoma to her parents Jack Harrell and Jessie Gillespie Harrell.
        Imogene graduated from high school at Canute, Oklahoma. She worked as a tailor for John R. Clover, Sr. in Enid, Oklahoma and there she met her husband John R. Clover, Jr. They married in Kansas, April 13, 1949.  They lived in Childress, Texas and moved to Cordell in 1966. Her husband was manager of the Johnson Grain Elevator in Clinton, Oklahoma. After his death she managed the elevator until her retirement in 1979.
        She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hill and husband, Randall of Stillwater, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jodi Holland and husband, Tim of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Susan Paige Hill, of Stillwater and Mallory Clover of Arizona.  She is preceeded in death by her parents, Jack and Jessie Harrell, her husband, John R. Clover, Jr., her son, John R. Clover, III; two sisters Evelena Jones, Olene Rolison; and one brother, Conley Harrell.
