John Robert Deese and Martha Secrest were my Great grandparents. John Robert was known as Bobby Deese he was the son of Briant Washington Dees and Louisa Ross in 1896 Bob added the E to the name. Bobby and Martha had 12 children they lived in Sandy Ridge Township, Union County North Carolina.
