Generation IV -5 Hutchins-Gardiner

Harriet Huntington Doerr is quoted as saying: "We had a tutor, Miss Hutchins, who came on the street car from Monrovia.  She lived in an old white house surrounded by lemon and orange groves". (Died ofCancer)

From the Los Angeles Times of February 8,1998

We first met the Hutchins shortly after arriving in Californis in 1932. . Cousin Harriet had been bed-ridden for some time.  We were struck by her cheerfulness and how she was an inspiration to those who came to see her.  She had been a tutor to the Huntington family children for many years.
