Concordia Cemetery - Forest Park, Illinois


Many of the old Kruses are buried here at Concordia Cemetery located at 7900 Madison Street in Forest Park, Illinois.  Two cemetery lots were purchased.  The first lot number 112-6 from John Kruse on 12 July 1892.  The second lot number 1142-8 was purchased by Marie Sommer Kruse on 19 Dec 1909 after her husband John passed away of an appendix rupture.

Kruse Marker Stone.  Buried here are my great grandparents,  John (1852-1909) and Marie (1859-1934) Kruse,
and three of their children, Sophia C. (1885-1969), George F. (1899-1928), and Florence (1906-1911).

Schroeder Marker

Schroeder Marker on lot 112-6.  Buried here are my great great grandmother, Maria Jenning Kruse (1818-1892);
Carl Kruse (1895-1895) died after 2 days old, son of John and Marie Kruse; Ludwig Schroeder who married John Kruse's
sister Sophia Kruse (1843-1911); Ludwig and Sophia's children,  Florence, John, Sophia, Anna, Louisa, and Charles.
