Daley Family

This is my Daley Family.  Joseph and Mary Casey Daley are my great-great grandparents.
Their daughter Mary Anne is my great-grandmother.

Joseph Daley was born on August 15, 1840 in Longford, Ireland and married Mary Casey of Mullingar, Ireland.
Joseph and Mary had 5 children.  Mary Anne was born on the ship going to the New York Harbor in March of 1863.
John was born in 1864 in New York.  Joseph Daley was born October 24, 1866 in New York.  Frances “Fannie” Daley
was born  in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  Margaret “Maggie” Daley was born in 1875 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Joseph and his family were already living in Waukesha by 1870 according to the Census.

Joseph Daley worked for the C. & N. W. Ry. which stands for Chicago and Northwestern Railroad which
was subsequently absorbed  by the Union Pacific Railroad. While at C. & N. W. Ry.  He was a section
foreman.  A section foreman is in charge of a section gang.  They lay and repair tracks.

They attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha.
