Carol's 3rd Great Grandparents, Johann Christian Friederich Lehmann, born in 1770 at
nearby Gremmelin and Maria Sophia Paegelow, born in 1794 at Kuhs, were married at this
church
in the large city of Guestrow on 21 October 1814. One of their
sons, Carl Friederich
Theodore Lehmann, born in
1815 at Glasewitzer Burg, married Sophia Friedericke Bell, born in
1822 at Luedershagen, also at this church in 1848. Then Carol's
Great Grandfather, Carl Christian
Theodore Lehmann, born in 1861 at Guestrow, immigrated in 1882, on the
ship S.S. Leipzig, with
his brother Fred, and his mother Friedericke Bell Lehmann to Chicago,
Illinois.
