Mary Ann Kruse is the granddaughter of the first known Kruse family who immigrated from
Viezen, Germany to Royalton, New York in 1853 on the ship Keplie.  From New York
the Kruses moved to Belle Plaine, Wisconsin around 1866.  After the Zimmers married in
1900 they moved to Argonne, Wisconsin and to Saint Claire, Michigan.
