He was married to Johanna RADETZKY on 20 Dec 1855 in Fredericksburg TX B1 pg 170 num 178.
Johanna RADETZKY was born on 5 Feb 1828 in Leubusch, Breslau, Selesia. She appeared on the census in 1860 in Mason County ,Texas.
Listed as age 32 and born in Falkenberg She appeared on the census in 1880 in Mason County ,Texas. gave age as 51 She died on 18 Oct 1903 in Castell.
Robert Bode an Johanna Radetzky Bode. I forgot to mention Johanna was
an Aunt of Wilhelm Radetzky.

The Radetzky family is supposed to be kin to the noted Field Marshall
Count Johann Josef Wenzel Anton Franz Karl Radetzky. He was born in
Bohemia. The Radetzky Waltz by Johann Strauss, Sr. was written for
him. He fought in quite a few wars, and at least one Battle against Napolean.
He served in the Army for 72 years, until his 91st year. A Statue in his
honor of he on his horse was erected in Vienna, Austria, and there is
a Radetzky Room in the Museum of Military History where his request for
discharge to Emperor Francis Joseph I, and the signiture of both.

I have not been able to make the direct connection, but our relatives
are the same as his and born in Bohemia, with the same names in the
lineage. I believe our relatives are a brother or cousin to his grandfather.

(Susanna's maiden name was also Radetzky) Anna was a relative of the famous Field Marshall Count Joseph Wenzel Anton Radetzky of Austria
(also called Prussia at one time) In April, 1884 the Radetzky family (parents: Frederick Wilhelm, Susanna, and children: Maria, Anna,and Frederick Wilhelm Jr.)
sailed from Hamburg, Germany on the steamer "Rugia" and landed in New York on May 15 1884. Anna was almost twelve years old.
They rode the train to Burnet, Texas and went in a wagon to Mason County, where they were to live. Robert and Johanna Radetzky Bode met them at the train.
Johanna Bode was Frederick Wilhelm Radetzky's aunt.   Anna did beautiful crochet work as a girl, and still crocheted up in her 80's.
Paul and Anna had four children who died in infancy: Maria Anna, Clara Elsa, Carl Edgar and Clarence. Paul Otto BODE and Anna RADETZKY had the following children:
