R. Dronam[?] Exc&c and on motion orderd to be retnd. On motion it is orderd that Archd. H. Davis Wilson D Webb & George B Mitchell be appointed commiSsioners to audit the accounts of James Murphry admr. of Holland Murphy decd. and report to the next Term of this court State vs. Andrew Jackson & Jas. Perry} Jury ctrd [page] Minutes for September Term 1844 Inventory of the Estate of Elizabeth Bonner decd is retn in open Court on oath by the Excutor Toliver Terrell The Execution of a Deed from Wm. G Montgomery to Wm. Montgomery was duly proven in open Court by the oath of Thomas T Davis a subscribing witneSs thereto and on motion ordered to be Registered The Sheriff returned his vinno[?] from which the following persons were drawn as Grand Jurors .To wit. 1 Norflet P Casson 7 William O Green 15 Harbert H Harris 2 Drury Denton 8 Jas. WJ Branch DSHill WDCoppedge RArendell WRHargims & JTWilliams The acct. current of James Murphy admr. & C is returned in open Court on oath & the CommiSsioners report confirmed Ordered that Wright Young be appointed administrator De Bon non, with the will annexed of Calvin Upchurch decd. &that he enter into Bond in the same of Two Thousand dollars Wm Wilder & Bryant Young as his securities which is approved by the Court ordered that all the Jurors who have failed to answer when called that have not be excused be fined $5 (each) [page] Minutes for September Term 1844 No 10 A.S. Perry vs. Y. Patterson admr. } Jury chd To wit Same as in No 2. Who find all the iSsues in favor of the Deft. intestate did aSsume and aSseSs the plff damages to $113.80 of which deem[?] $80.60 is principal &find That there has been no payment or seloff and find all the other iSsues in favor of the Defendant whereupon the plff proved &in provement[?] for the acct. of the above virdect & cost and it being suggested by the plff that Smith Patterson the intestate of the Deft. official Estate, it is on motion ordered that a desufacous[?] be opened vs. Wm. S. Patterson & Mary E. Patterson the infant heirs of the said Smith Patterson to show cause why Execution shall not iSsue vs the real Estate which descended to said kind for the amt. of the above Judgements On motion Judgement is granted vs plff for Cost. No Joseph Murphey vs. Y Patterson admr. } Jury chd to wit same as no 10. who find all the iSsues in favor of the Deft Whereupon the planitiff[sic] signs judgement for the same of $5. with Int from 11 September 1844 &cost and it being suggested by the Plff that Smith Patterson the intestate of the Dft left real Estate. It is on motion ordered that a surfarvis[?] be opened vs. Wm S Patterson Emma Patterson Celestin[?] Patterson Dallas Patterson & Mary E Patterson the infant heirs of the said Smith Patterson to be sumed[?] on their Guardians Margaret C Patterson summoning them to show cause why Execution should not iSsue vs the real Estate which descended to said heirs for the amt. of the above judgement on motion judgement is granted vs. plff for cost On motion ordered that Wm. M. Alston have leave to retail Spiritous Liquors at Upchurchs in this county for one Year only seven Justices being on the bench [page] Minutes for March Term 1845 State vs Joseph Murphry } Jury Chd same as in last case except B Woodruff in place of Lunde[?] who find the Deft Guilty ordered that he pay $6[?] &cost Guardn. acct of the Jno W. Earls Guardian for Jas M Earls was returned in open Court on oath & ordered to be Recorded On motion is ordered by the Court that Gideon Wiggins be appointed Guardain for his infant children Chubins[?] Wiggins & Tamandy[?] Wiggins who entered into bond in the sum of two thousand dollars with Robt G Jeffreys & James Wiggins as his securities Benja F. Foster[?] Saml Harris Edward T Towlkes[?] & Josiah Bugin[?] Esquires presiding The Execution of a Deed from N Milano Asn. Fills and Thoas T Tuiley to Chas J Edgerton was proven by the oath of Wm Eaton Junr one of the subscribing witneSses thereto &on motion orderd to be Registerd On motion orderd that Gideon Wiggins administrator with the will annex of E Conyers decd. be allowed to sell on a credit of six months one negro woman & child named Serina & child Emeline Acount sales of the property of Simon Williams decd. was returned on oath in open Court by the admr P A [Swan?] & orderd to be Recorded The execution of a Deed from Sarah Hind[?] to Wm.
