North Carolina Bertie County} I George the Second by
the grace of God King of Great Britain-

To the Sheriff of Bertie County Greeting

We Command you as before that of the Goods and
Chattles of John BRYAN Late of the said County
Planter if to be found in your Bailiwick you cause
to be made the sum of One Pound Eighteen Shillings
and two pence Virginia money equal in vallue to Two
Pounds and Eight Pence half penny Proclamation
money- Which William MURPEE Lately in our County
Court of Bertie aforsaid hath Recovered against the
said John BRYAN in a suit commenced by Petition as
also the sum of One Pound Seven Shillings and Eleven
Pence Proclamation money and your own Fees Which
hath been taxed in our said Court for his Costs in
this behalf expended whereof he is- Convicted as to
us of Record appear. And that you have the said
several sums at our next Court to be holden for the
said County at the Court House thereof on the said
William MURFREE (MURPEE?...cathy) the above Judgment
and Costs as Taxed. Herein fail not And have there
this Writ.
