Minutes of March Court 1806 ----- Odered[sic] that James Cheves be appointed Guardn. to Rhody Stallings orphans of Josiah Stallings decd. who entered into Bond in the Sum Two Hundred and fifty pounds with Elisha Stallings and John Alford Junr. his Scty- ----- The commiSsioners appointed to divide the Lands belonging to the estate Josiah Stallings decd. exhibited the said division and report to next court &S.o[?] ----- Ordered that the County Tax for the year 1805 be 2/6 on each poll & ten pence on each Hundred Acres of Land ----- Ordered that James Seawell & William Green Esqrs be appointed to enquire into the receipts & disbursements of the County & report to next court ----- The commiSsioners who were appointed to audit the accts. of William Methite[?] Excrs of Phillip Methite[?] decd. exhibited said acct & report and on M.O.R. ----- A Deed from William Sanders to James Spivey was provd by the oath of William Harrison and on M.O.R. ----- A Deed from Edwd. Morris to JeSsee Kitchen was proved by the oath of Josiah Murphey and on M.O.R. ----- Randolph Gordan acknowledged a Bill of Sale to Abner Gupton and on M.O.R. ----- A deed from Gutchburt Ferrell to Joseph Young was proved by the oath of James Ferrell & on M.O.R. ----- Ordered that Mills Robbens be appointed overseer of the road from his house to Majr.
