Murphy, 15 Apr 2002] [p.] 41 This Indenture [made the] [twenty fourth?] Day of December in the year of our Lord Christ [Seventeen Hundred and Sixteen] Between Daniell Davis and Elizabeth his [wife of the County of Isle of Wight of the first] part and William Murfrey of the County aforesaid [of the second part for and] in consideration of [two?] hundred pounds [current money of Virginia] [being part of a patent?..thousand acres?...] .. in hand truly paid by the said William Murfrey at [...a Court?...shing and colony of..] the receipt whereof the said Daniell Davis and Elizabeth his Wife Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof Doth acquit and Discharge the sd William Murfery his heirs and or Executors and Admrs and Every of them by these presents they the sd Daniell Davis and his Last Wife have Granted & Bargined & Sold Revised [?] Released and for Ever after Claimed and Confirmed and by these presents do Grant Bargin Sell Revise & Release for Ever after Claim and Confirm unto the said William Murfery his heirs all ye poSseSsion[?] now being by virtue of a Bargin and Sail to him made by the said Daniell Davis and Elizabeth his Wife for one year baring Date the Day next before the Day of the Date of these presents and Duely executed before the Sealing and Delivery of theSe presents and of the Statute for Transferring uses into poSseSsion and to the heirs & aSsigns of the sd William Murfrey all that tract or parcel of Land and plantation with the appurtenances situate Lying and being in the Isle of Wight County aforesd Containing by Estimation one hundred acres be the Same more or LeSs and Bounded as followeth, viz Beginning at the Corner tree by William Murferies from thence to Simon Everits line and So along the sd Everits line to a White Oak by the branch line below on the field formerly Called Allans Cornfield and so along the sd branch to a White Oak at the head of the branch and from thence to a Marked Red Oak and So upon a Strong Set line to the Two Line and So along the Two Line to the firSt mentioned Corner tree by William Murferies aforsd being part of a p'cell of Land Given by Anthony Branch late of the County aforesd Decd unto mary the Wife of Stephen Powell and by the sd Stephen Powell and Mary his Wife Given and Granted unto Henry Allen as by Deed bareing Date the Third Day of June in the year of Our Lord God 1693 May appear and by the DeceaS of the sd Henry Allen Decended unto Elizabeth his only Surviving Child & heir now Wife to the aforesd Daniel Davis and party to these p'sents the Reversion and ReverSions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues & profitts and all and Singular the p'mises with their Every of their appurtenances and also all the State Right Title Interest & property Claim and Demand whatsoever of them the sd Daniell Davis and Elizabeth his Wife of in and to the Same p'mises or any part or parcell therof and all ways paSsages EaSments p'fitts Commodities & appurtenances to the same p'mises belonging or in any wise appertaining or there with used Occupyed or Enjoyed- To have and to hold these MeSsuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments & p'mises herein or hereby before Granted Bargined Sold and Released or mentioned or Intended to be herein or hereby before Granted Bargined Sold and ReleaSed and every part and p'cell thereof with their & every of their appurtenances unto these William Murfrey his heires & aSsignes to the only proper use benefitt and behoof of the sd William Murfrey his heires & ASignes for Ever And the said Daniell Davis & Elizabeth his Wife for themSelves their heires Exc & admrs. and Every of them Doth Covenant promise Grant and agree to and with ye sd William [p.] 42 William Murfrey his heires and aSsignes by these preSents [in make?] and form following that is to say (that they the sd Daniell Davis and Elizabeth his Wife have in themselves good right and absolute power over [ye sd property?] to Grant Bargin Sell and ReleaSe ye sd here by grant [Bargin Sell and Release?
