Murphy, 16 Jan 2001] 519 The State of Texas County of Navarro Know all men by these presents that I, W. E. Crews, a citizen of the State of Tennessee and of Maury County for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid and secured to be by A.W. Crews of the State of Texas and Navarro Co. the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents bargain and sell alien[?] convey and transfer unto him the said A.W. Crews all and singular the following described tract of land "viz" Situated in said State of Texas and in said Navarro County on the Waters of Battle Creek and is a part of 640 acres pahenched[?] to Thos. Williams and deeded to me by S.R. Frost on 30th day of Nov 1875. Beginning at the North East corner of said A.W. Crews 47 acres tract Thence running N 60 E with said W.E. Crews line 680 vrs to his N.E. corner Thence S 30 E with the N.E. line 207 3/4 vrs to a stake in said line for corner. Thence S 60 W 680 vrs to the N.E. line of sd 42 acres Thence N.30 W. 207 3/4 vrs to beginning containing by estimation 25 acres to have and to hold said lands together with any and all appurtances thereon or incidental thereto to him the said A.W. Crews and his heirs and assigns forever hereby warranting and defending the right and title of the same myself my heirs and assigns and against any and all persons whatsoever legally claiming or to claim said lands or any part thereof.
