To all &c Whereas &c Know ye that I the said Edward Diggs give and
grant unto William Bird Three Hundred Acres of Land

upon the south side of Wards[?] Creek above John Walls Devidends[?] 
Beginning as followeth from the Creek unto the Woods 320 Perches, South
East up the Creek South by West 150 Perches.  The said Land being due
unto the said William Bird by Purchase from William Havet who patented
the same the 7th of April 1653. and renewed by Order of the Quarter
Court bearing date with these presents and also retaken up by new 
rights by and for the Transportation of Six Persons into this Colony
&c.  To Have and To Hold &c. yielding &c paying &c. which payments is 
to be &c. dated the 7th day of June 1656.  Ann Tuck, Edward Clanterne,
John Hite, John Chapman, William Munteth, Margaret Sweetman. ------
