Dec 8, 1745; godparents Richard Murphy, Arthur Smith, Lucy Wyndham.] Will of John Mackgarithe, 18 April 1785 IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I John Mackgarithe of South Carolina and Ninity Six district, being weak of body but of perfect mind and disposing memory do appoint ordain and constitute this my last will and testament in mannor and form following. That is to say, First I will my body to be delt by at the discretion of my executors hereafter named. Secondly that all my just debts to be paid. 3rdly. The land now in the office in joint with and in the name of John Putman which I have an Obligation for to be equally divided between my sons Clemmons & Michael at the death of their mother. Requiring the said John Putman to make them both to do the same. 4thly.
