...After this the King's Evidence were called, who deposed, in Substance as
follows:
That Mr. Lynch coming into England about April last, and happening into
Company of Dr. MURPHY his former Acquaintance, was by him informed of the
Design of an Insurrection in this Kingdom in favour of the Pretenders and
finding the said Lynch inclinable to come into the same, proposed to
introduce him to a Person who had a considerable share in the carrying it on...
