The Trail of Tears: the Bell Route

 

The Bell Route ran from near Chattanooga due west, crossing the Mississippi River near Memphis, to Little Rock and up the North bank of the Arkansas River to Ft Gibson, Indian Territory. It was followed by one detachment.
