on the back of the photograph it says

"Mother" taken at Sea Point Capetown S.A. 1936 before sailing for home - home being Durban

 sometime in the 1920s.It seems as though all my grandmother's family couldn't wait to get away from this country because all her Bridger relatives moved to Akron, Ohio and the Mcdade's went to South Africa.

This is Nora MCDADE, her husband Desmond O'SULLIVAN, their son John and Nora's mother Isabella MCDADE in South Africa in the 1930s.

Isabella died in 1948 and is buried in Stellawood Cemetery, Durban South Africa.
