SAMUEL BOWEN, SR., born July 16, 1659 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts, died March 4, 1727/28 in Cohansey, Cumberland County, New Jersey.  Married ELIZABETH WOOD May 26, 1684 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts, daughter of JOHN WOOD and ELIZABETH HALL.  Born 1656 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts, died February 28, 1727/28 in Cohansey, Cumberland County, New Jersey. Samuel is buried in Bowentown, Cumberland County, New Jersey.
