Mortuary, in Danville, Illinois, provides an on-line cemetery listing
for Vermilion County, IL. A recent search brought up thirteen records
using the surname "McMains". I have identified twelve of these. The
record that I could not identify is probably a 19th century Irish
immigrant, and as such, not contained within our American McMains tree.
It is interesting, however that she lived in Vermilion County, IL. Many
of our American McMains cousins lived in this county. However, she was
buried in a cemetery other than those in whom our American cousins are
buried. St. Patrick Cemetery (now known as Resurrection Cemetery) is
located in Danville, IL. |
