Milton Lee Stanfield, 6th generation McMains ** was born to John Watson Stanfield and Nancy "Nannie" Caroline McMains, July 17, 1899 in Pudding, Dimmit County, Texas. He married Mary Sawyer after 1920, and divorced her before 1930. He married his second wife, Viola Sophie Knudsen, in 1934. We do know that Viola was born Sept 12, 1906 in Racine, Wisconsin. Both spouses are dead now, but the only date known is for Viola, who died June 28, 1973, San Bernadino County, CA. There were two children from this union, both of which are still living. Milton died Aug 7, 1980, Riverside County, California.
