McMains and the Clan Colquhoun

The Scottish Connection

Chuck McMains sent me a copy of this article, and now James Pearson, author and previous historian of the Clan Colquhoun Society of the United Kingdom (Luss, Loch Lomond, Scotland) has graciously given permission for it to be re-printed here. It seems that although our original immigrant to America (whomever he may have been) was likely Irish, his ancestors (and thus our ancestors) were Scottish! A special THANK YOU to James Pearson and the Clan Colquhoun Society of the United Kingdom .
