Henry Voss, age 60, of 402 G street, died at the Holy Family hospital Monday morning at 6:30.
Mr. Voss was born Sept. 30, 1867, at Schwasdorf, Germany, coming to this country in 1890 and settling in LaPorte, having lived here since that time. In 1890 he married Lena Walters in LaPorte. Mr. Voss has been an employe of the local water works for the past 32 years.
Surviving are the widow; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Koehn and Mrs. Augusta Buhr; a brother, Charles Voss of Lockport, N.Y.; four sons, Max Voss of Michigan City, Clarence Voss of Minneapolis, Fred Voss of South Bend and Herbert Voss of LaPorte; four daughters, Mrs. Ira Turhune of Gary. Mrs. Raymond McDermott of LaPorte, Mrs, Lavaine Schultz of Grand Rapids and Esther Voss at home, and nine grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. --?--Cuttler brothers in charge --?--" (Bob--illegible at the end)
