my ancestors include many
different surnames, I have concentrated primarily on my Brewer
ancestors. It has been difficult because there are so many of
them with the same names. My information
of my Brewer line begins
with William Brewer, Thomas Brewer and Reuben Brewer. Please understand the information of the earliest ancestors have not been proven. If you have any information contrary to what I have included or can provide any information, please contact me.  My
Research of the Brewer-Bruer Family
While searching
the Census Records for the Brewers in Davidson and Forsyth Counties, I
found that it appeared that the Brewer families were constantly moving
from one county to
another, but I found that it was the line dividing the 2 counties that
seemed to
shift. When Forsyth County was formed in 1850, the Census takers
were not certain of the exact line between Forsyth and Davidson County
in the first Census.
Some of the lines apparently changed by the time the 1860 Census was
taken.
