LINDA SUE SIMPKINS

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 8, 11 a.m. at the Phelps & Son
Funeral Home Chapel for Linda Sue Gwinn Simpkins, 53, of Leon, W. Va.,
formerly of Paintsville, who passed away Friday, Sept. 5 at her
residence.
   
Mrs. Simpkins was born Feb. 1, 1961 in Circleville, Ohio, daughter of
the late Robert and Corrie Rowland Gwinn. She was also preceded in death
by one sister, Sharon Fields.
  
Surviving are her husband, Rick Simpkins of Leon; two daughters, Crystal
Reed of Salyersville, and Amanda Helton of West Liberty; one step- son,
Shane Simpkins of Paintsville; two brothers, Jason Gwinn and Joe Gwinn;
and one sister, Carrie Fairchild, all of Paintsville; and three
granddaughters.
   
The service was officiated by Isaac Rowland, with burial in the Highland
Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
