Pauline Blair, 89, of Staffordsville, died Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Terrace
Nursing Home, Berea.
Born Oct. 1, 1920, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late
Addison M. and Cora Rice Salyer. She was a school teacher in the Johnson
County School System.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Tollie Blair; and a
sister, Ruth Salyer.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Blair and Wade Blair, both of Berea; a
sister, Bethel Lowe of Lexington, and a grandchild.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel,
with Will Owens and Jim McKenzie officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
