LUCY CASTLE
1920-1992
Thealka resident, Lucy Fraley Castle, 72, died Saturday, October 3 at her
residence.
Mrs. Castle was born August 31, 1920 in Johnson County, the daughter of
the late Charles and Martha Payne Fraley.
She was a member of the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah “Buck” Castle. Surviving
are four sons, James Roger, Tom and Mike Castle, all of Thealka and Chuck
Castle of Offutt; one daughter, Patty Walker of Thealka; three brothers,
Charles Fraley of Barnetts Creek, Don Fraley of Thealka and Foster Fraley
of Somerset; two sisters, Millie Hunter of Thealka and Edith Sherman of
Texas; and 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 6 in Thealka Freewill Baptist
Church with Revs. Hubert Slone and Larry Blair officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville with
Bryan Fraley & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
