JESSE M. CORDIAL
1934-1969
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, January 29, for Jesse M.
Cordial, 34, who died Monday, January 27 in a local hospital after an
illness of several months.
C. C. Hall and Claude Preston were the officiating ministers for the
services held in the chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Interment followed in the family cemetery at Winifred under the direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Born in Johnson County on October 13, 1934, he was the son of Mrs. Mima
Cordial Castle, who survives, and the late Ben Cordial.
He was employed as a carman for the C & O Railroad and also worked at
Clyde’s Shopping Center. He was a resident of Sitka at the time of his
death.
Survivors including the mother, are his wife, Grace Castle Cordial; the
step father, Oscar Castle of Winifred; and one sister, Mary Alice Doane
of Delaware, OH.
