PAUL B. PRESTON
1910-1993
   
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Paul B.
Preston, 83, who died Wednesday, July 14.
  
Mr. Preston was born Jan 8, 1910 in Johnson County, the son of the late
William and Myrtle Spears Preston. He was a retired miner and member of
the Van Lear Masonic Lodge.
   
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Blevins Preston in 1974.
  
Surviving are one daughter, Doris Spencer of Waddy; two stepdaughters,
Mabel Walters of Williamsport and Ann Bender of Hardinsburg; three
brothers, Homer Preston of Meally, Raymond Preston of Boons Camp and
William Preston, Jr of Dayton, OH; three sisters, Barbara Franklin of
River, and Stella Craig and Irene Parson, both of Catlettsburg; nine
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
   
Funeral services were held Friday, July 16, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with John Pelphrey officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
