IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT "Homer Castle" IS BURIED IN THIS CEMETERY BUT NO SIGNS OF HIS BURIAL HERE
WAS FOUND.

CASTLE, Homer 1936-1974 A former Johnson County native, Homer Castle, was killed in an automobile
accident last Friday, Aug 30, in Wabash, IN. The son of the late Con and Beulah Sadler Castle, he
was born Nov 21, 1936, and lived in Wabash where he was employed by Abe Sposkeep and Sons.
Surviving are a brother, Lofty Castle of Nashville, TN and three sisters, Numa Daniels and Vonda
VanHoose, both of Nippa and Ruth Muckalow of River. Funeral services for Mr. Castle were held
Tuesday, Sep 3, in the Chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Reverends James K. Caudill
and M. T. Womack, Jr. officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Nippa with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, Mar 4, 1974
