The cemetary directions are: Take Rt. 40 east toward Martin county. Turn left onto SR
3390 (Hamond Road) toward Whitehouse. Go about 3 miles to where the road forks. Turn
left and go about 1/2 mile to what looks like a private driveway to a house where
John Nelson used to live. Go past the house and veer left around the hill. Go to end
of road and walk up an small embankment to the graveyard.

I found an obituary listing that needs to be added to the Joe Greer cemetery @ Whitehouse.
It is for the Carrol unknown grave. I always thought it was a baby grave and I found
this obituary in the listings for 1945 and am sure that is the grave so please
add it to the bottom for reference. Selene Blanton Feb 2013


The stillborn child of Mr. and Mrs. John Carroll of White House was buried Tuesday, February 13, 1945,
