appeared in Vol 1, No. 3 of this publication written by Ellen Spradlin in 1880. Benjamin

Evans was his guardian. He married 2nd Ellen Spradlin. He and Martha had four children: Evan,

in Mingo County, West Virginia. He was the first husband of Martha J. Rule. They married on Jun

duplicate stone as the dates are the same. I don't know which is the correct grave. Roscoe and
Proctor - Roscoe Rule and Proctor Rule are infant sons of A. W. and Angeline Rule. Alonzo
Holbrook - He was probably the husband of Melissa "Sip" Rule. Sip Holbrook - Melissa "Sip"
Rule, daughter of A. W. and Angeline Rule. Wife of Alonzo.
