WILLIAM T. ARMS
1902-1965
Mr. William T. (Son) Arms, 63, died May 22, at his home following
an illness of ten weeks.
Born March 29, 1902, he was the son of Henry and Alice Adams Arms.
He had been a resident of Sitka about 13 years, and was an
affiliate of the Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucinda Blair Arms.
Other survivors are five sons, Paul Arms, Geneva, N.Y., James
Arms, Elmyra, N.L., Henry Arms, Ovid, N.Y., Harry Arms, Scenic
Falls, N.Y., Lloyd Arms, Houston, Tex.; three daughters, Martha
Alice Long, Sitka, Mary Smith, Wittensville, and Linda Sue
Linthicum, Pasadena, Tex.
Also surviving are two brothers, Virgil Arms, Troy, Ohio and Carl
Arms, Alabama.
Funeral services were conducted today at 2:00 p.m., in the
Southside Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Fraley
officiating.
Burial was in the family cemetery on Southside.
