Funeral services were held Sunday, September 9, for Erie M. Bailey,
88.
Mrs. Bailey was born November 19, 1901 in Johnson County, the
daughter of George and Genett Katherine Rose Evans. She was a
member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband Elder J. T. Bailey; three sons, James
Holman Bailey, of Summit, Thomas Lurray Bailey, of Norris,
Tennessee, and Andrew Lowell Bailey, of Flat Gap; four daughters,
Jewell Evelyn Lemaster, of Marion, Indiana, Edna Hildreih Cox, of
Westwood, Wil ladean Skaggs, of Catlettsburg, and Genett Lorell
Ison, of Lexington; and 17 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren and
five great-great- grandchildren.
Officiating at services in the United Baptist Church of Paintsville
were Elders Arthur "Tiny" Breeding and Roy Coffee.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
