JAMES RAY BAKER
1935-1970
Knoxville, Tennessee resident James Ray Baker, 34, died Friday,
January 16 in Knoxville.
Born in Paintsville on August 3, 1935, he was the son of Charles
Ray and Nannie Baker.
Survivors, in addition to this parents, include his wife, Brenda
Mink Baker; two sons, Charles Ray Baker of Paintsville and James
Russell Baker of Knoxville; three brothers, Bill and Mike Baker of
Thealka and Robert Baker of Paintsville; and a sister, Juanita Ward
of Meally.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, January 19 in the South
Side Enterprise Baptist Church with John Frank Ratliff officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville. The
Preston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
