Donna Stapleton Barker, 64, of Salyersville, died Friday, March 28,
2008 at her residence.
  
Born Sept. 12, 1943, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of Heida
Grimm Stapleton, and the late Charles Stapleton. She was a retired
nurse and a member of the Church of Christ.
  
Additional survivors include her husband, John R. Barker; a son;
three step-sons; a grandchild; and seven step-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Monday, March 31, at Magoffin County Funeral
Home Chapel, Salyersville, with Brian Bailey officiating.
  
Burial was in Highlands Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
