Funeral services were held Monday, October 22 for Bessie Mae Blair,
78.
Mrs. Blair was born June 10,1912 in Johnson County, the daughter of
General and Mary Ann Frazier Hitchcock. She was a member of the
United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Blair, in 1980.
Surviving are three sons, Elmon Dexter Blair, of Paintsville, Elmer
Carrol Blair, of Leander, and Paul Eldridge Blair, of Gahana, Ohio;
five daughters, Mary Linda Caudill, of Oil Springs, Anna Bernice
Wills, of Prestonsburg, Ruby Evelyn Conley, of Salyersville, and
Goble Clarice James and Wilma Jean Belknap, both of Columbus, Ohio;
two sisters, Alta Baldwin and Dicie Baldwin, both of Denver, and 24
grandchildren and 29 great- grandchildren.
Officiating at services in Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel were
Elders Kenny Pelphrey, Larry Blanton and Jack Salyers.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
