Arnold Blanton, 83, of Hager Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born March 3, 1925, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late
Jack and Allie Fairchild Blanton. He worked in retail management, and
was a U.S. Navy WW II veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice Horn Blanton,
and second wife, Patricia Lou Perrone Blanton.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy Barns of Frankfort; and a son,
Jackie Blanton of Paintsville.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Tackett and Jeff Straton
officiating. Auxier Chapter #18 DAV will conduct military services.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
Visitation will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 24, at the
funeral home.
