VIRGINIA BLANTON

Virginia Blanton, age 73, of Iris Street, Paintsville, passed away Monday
(Sep.10 2010) at her residence.
  
Virginia was born September 7th, 1937 in Martin County, Kentucky, daughter
of the late Haskell and Carma Dixon Hitchcock. In addition to her parents,
she is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip “Bud” Blanton on February
2nd, 1985 and one brother William Hitchcock.
  
She is survived Raymond (Violet) Hitchcock of Columbus, Ohio; one sister,
Alice Belhasen of Staffordsville, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
  
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24th, 2010
in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Wes Stedtefeld officiating.
  
Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, at Staffordsville,
Kentucky.
