Bethel Bowling, 88, of Paintsville, died Thursday, March 27, at Mountain
Manor, Paintsville.

Born Nov. 20, 1925, at Auxier, she was the daughter of the late Frank Booth
and Martha Whitaker.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Bowling.

Survivors include three sons, William Bowling and Terry Lee Bowling, both
of Wabash, Ind., and Clayton Bowling of Marion, Ind.; seven daughters,
Brenda Blankenship, Alice Hewlett and Jackie Dollarhide, all of Van Lear,
Bertha Henry of Florida, Lucille Webb and Ida Ann Sparks, both of Wabash,
and Evelyn Hazelett of Hager Hill; a brother, Ellis Booth of Elkhart, Ind.;
three sisters, Mary Webb of Wabash, Ida Mae Thomas and Florence Stiltner,
both of Columbus, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, March 31, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home
Chapel, with Manford Fannin officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction
of Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
