Marietta Fern Bowling, 65, of Van Lear, died Saturday, Jan. 24, at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center.
   
Born May 18, 1949, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Ben
and Darlene Howard.
   
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Rocky Wells.
  
Survivors include her husband, Gary “Pete” Bowling; two sons, Terry Neal
Bowling and Jimmy Bowling, both of Van Lear; a brother, Clifford Booth of
Continental, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Phelps and Son
Funeral Home Chapel, with Roger Hill officiating.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
