Paulene Bowling, 69, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Dec. 27, at Mountain
Manor, Paintsville.
  
Born July 12, 1945, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar
and Josephine Dixon Bowling. She was a homemaker.
   
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Meade.
  
Survivors include a son, David Bowling of West Van Lear; a daughter, Betty
Wells of Ohio; three brothers, Tommy Bowling of Pikeville, Billy Bowling of
Van Lear and Cecil Bowling of Hillsboro, Ohio; four sisters, Juanita King of
New Vienna, Ohio, Loraine Ratliff of Salyersville, Carolyn Goble of Auxier
and Dixie Wells of East Point; and three grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 29, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel, with
Roger Hill officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
